Views of the Russian Far East from Gambell, Alaska

Gambell is the village situated at the northwest tip of St. Lawrence Island, the northernmost island in the Bering Sea. It is one of the longest continuously occupied village sites in North America. On a clear day, you can see the mountains of the Russian Far East from the island’s gravelly shores. We lead both spring and fall birding tours to Gambell.
